BNV : প্রভু তখন হনানির পুত্র য়েহূর সঙ্গে কথা বললেন এবং রাজা বাশার বিরুদ্ধে কথা বললেন|
KJV : Then the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha, saying,

ERVEN : Then the Lord spoke against King Baasha through the prophet, Jehu son of Hanani. He said,

BNV : তিনি বললেন, “আমি তোমাকে ধূলো থেকে উঠিযে এনে ইস্রায়েলে আমার লোকদের নেতা করেছিলাম| কিন্তু তুমি যারবিয়ামের আচরণ অনুসরণ করেছ| আমার ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের পাপাচরণের কারণ হয়েছ এবং তারা তাদের পাপ দিয়ে আমাকে ক্রুদ্ধ করেছে|
KJV : Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;
YLT : `Because that I have raised thee up out of the dust, and appoint thee leader over My people Israel, and thou walkest in the way of Jeroboam, and causest My people Israel to sin -- to provoke Me to anger with their sins;

ERVEN : "I made you an important prince over my people Israel. But you have done the same things Jeroboam did. You have caused my people Israel to sin. Their sins have made me angry.

BNV : তাই বাশা, আমি তোমাকে এবং তোমার পরিবারকে ধ্বংস করব| নবাটের পুত্র যারবিয়ামের পরিবারের য়ে দশা হয়েছিল তোমাদেরও তাই হবে|
KJV : Behold, I will take away the posterity of Baasha, and the posterity of his house; and will make thy house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
YLT : lo, I am putting away the posterity of Baasha, even the posterity of his house, and have given up thy house as the house of Jeroboam son of Nebat;

BNV : তোমার পরিবারের সবাই শহরের পথেঘাটে মারা পড়বে, কুকুরে তাদের মৃতদেহ ছিঁড়ে খাবে| অন্যরা মাঠেঘাটে মরে পড়ে থাকবে| চিল শকুনী তাদের মৃতদেহ ঠোকরাবে|”
KJV : Him that dieth of Baasha in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth of his in the fields shall the fowls of the air eat.
YLT : him who dieth of Baasha in a city do the dogs eat, and him who dieth of his in a field do fowl of the heavens eat.`
RV : Him that dieth of Baasha in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth of his in the field shall the fowls of the air eat.
RSV : Any one belonging to Baasha who dies in the city the dogs shall eat; and any one of his who dies in the field the birds of the air shall eat."

ERVEN : Dogs will eat the bodies of those in your family who die in the city. And wild birds will eat the bodies of those who die out in the fields."

BNV : বাশা ও তাঁর উল্লেখয়োগ্য কীর্তির সব কিছুই ‘ইস্রায়েলের রাজাদের ইতিহাস’ গ্রন্থে লিপিবদ্ধ আছে|
KJV : Now the rest of the acts of Baasha, and what he did, and his might, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

BNV : বাশার মৃত্যুর পর তাঁকে তির্সাতে সমাধিস্থ করা হল| এরপর তাঁর পুত্র এলা নতুন রাজা হলেন|
KJV : So Baasha slept with his fathers, and was buried in Tirzah: and Elah his son reigned in his stead.

BNV : যারবিয়ামের পরিবারের মতোই বাশাও প্রভুর বিরুদ্ধে বহু পাপাচরণ করে, যার ফরে প্রভু তার প্রতি ক্রুদ্ধ হন এবং ভাববাদী য়েহূকে বাশার পরিণতির কথা জানিয়ে দেন| বাশা যারবিয়ামের পরিবারের সবাইকে হত্যা করার জন্যও প্রভু তাঁর প্রতি ক্রুদ্ধ হয়েছিলেন|
KJV : And also by the hand of the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasha, and against his house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, in provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and because he killed him.
YLT : And also by the hand of Jehu son of Hanani the prophet a word of Jehovah hath been concerning Baasha, and concerning his house, and concerning all the evil that he did in the eyes of Jehovah to provoke Him to anger with the work of his hands, to be like the house of Jeroboam, and concerning that for which he smote him.

ERVEN : That book also has the story of the time the Lord gave the message to Jehu the prophet about Baasha and his family. Baasha did many things the Lord said were wrong, just as Jeroboam did. This and the fact that Baasha had killed Jeroboam made the Lord very angry.

KJV : In the twenty and sixth year of Asa king of Judah began Elah the son of Baasha to reign over Israel in Tirzah, two years.

BNV : সিম্রি ছিলেন এলার অধীনস্থ একজন রাজকর্মচারী| সিম্রি এলার অর্ধেক রথ বাহিনীর সেনাপতি ছিলেন| সিম্রি এলার বিরুদ্ধে চক্রান্ত করেছিলেন|রাজা এলা তখন অর্সার বাড়িতে বসে দ্রাক্ষারস পান করছিলেন| অর্সা তির্সার প্রাসাদরক্ষক ছিল|
KJV : And his servant Zimri, captain of half [his] chariots, conspired against him, as he was in Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza steward of [his] house in Tirzah.
YLT : and conspire against him doth his servant Zimri (head of the half of the chariots) and he [is] in Tirzah drinking -- a drunkard in the house of Arza, who [is] over the house in Tirzah.

ESV : But his servant Zimri, commander of half his chariots, conspired against him. When he was at Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza, who was over the household in Tirzah,
ERVEN : Zimri was one of King Elah's officers. Zimri commanded half of Elah's chariots, but Zimri plotted against Elah. King Elah was in Tirzah, drinking and getting drunk at Arza's home. Arza was the man in charge of the palace at Tirzah.

BNV : সিম্রি সে সময় ঐ বাড়িতে ঢুকে এলাকে হত্যা করেন| যিহূদাতে আসার রাজত্বের 27 বছরের মাথায় এই ঘটনা ঘটে| সিম্রি এলার পরে ইস্রায়েলের নতুন রাজা হলো|
KJV : And Zimri went in and smote him, and killed him, in the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned in his stead.

ERVEN : Zimri went into the house and killed King Elah. Then Zimri became the new king of Israel after Elah. This was during the 27 year that Asa was king in Judah.

BNV : সিম্রি ইস্রায়েলের নতুন রাজা হবার পর তিনি একে একে বাশার পরিবারের সকলকে হত্যা করলেন, কাউকে রেহাই দিলেন না| সিম্রি বাশার বন্ধু-বান্ধবদেরও সবাইকে হত্যা করলেন| প্রভু য়েভাবে ভাববাদী য়েহূর কাছে বাশার মৃত্যু সম্পর্কে ভাববাণী করেছিলেন ঠিক সে ভাবেই বাশা ও তাঁর পরিবারের সকলের মৃত্যু হল|
KJV : And it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, [that] he slew all the house of Baasha: he left him not one that pisseth against a wall, neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends.
YLT : and it cometh to pass in his reigning, at his sitting on his throne, he hath smitten the whole house of Baasha; he hath not left to him any sitting on the wall, and of his redeemers, and of his friends.
RV : And it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he smote all the house of Baasha: he left him not a single man child, neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends.

ERVEN : After Zimri became the new king, he killed all of Baasha's family and friends. He did not let any male in Baasha's family live.

ERVEN : So Zimri destroyed Baasha's family just as the Lord said he would when he spoke against Baasha through the prophet Jehu.

BNV : বাশা ও তাঁর পুত্র এলার পাপাচরণের জন্যই এই ঘটনা ঘটলো| তাঁরা শুধু নিজেরাই পাপ করেন নি, ইস্রায়েলের লোকদেরও পাপাচরণে বাধ্য করেছিলেন| য়ে কারণে প্রভু তাদের ওপর ক্রুদ্ধ হয়েছিলেন| এছাড়াও তারা মূর্ত্তি পূজা করতেন বলে প্রভু ক্রুদ্ধ হয়েছিলেন|
KJV : For all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, by which they sinned, and by which they made Israel to sin, in provoking the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.

ERVEN : This happened because of all the sins of Baasha and his son Elah. They sinned and they caused the Israelites to sin. They worshiped worthless idols, and this made the Lord angry.

BNV : যিহূদাতে আসার রাজত্বের 27 তম বছরে সিম্রি ইস্রায়েলের রাজা হলেন| সিম্রি মাত্র 7 দিনের জন্য তির্সাতে রাজত্ব করেছিলেন| পলেষ্টীয় অধিকৃত গিব্বথোনের কাছে ইস্রায়েলের সেনাবাহিনী তখন শিবির গেড়েছিল| তারা সে সময় যুদ্ধের জন্য প্রস্তুত হচ্ছিল|
KJV : In the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah did Zimri reign seven days in Tirzah. And the people [were] encamped against Gibbethon, which [belonged] to the Philistines.
YLT : In the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah, reigned hath Zimri seven days in Tirzah; and the people are encamping against Gibbethon, which [is] to the Philistines;

ERVEN : Zimri became king of Israel during the 27 year that Asa was king of Judah. Zimri ruled in Tirzah only seven days. This is what happened: The army of Israel was at Gibbethon, which was under Philistine control.

BNV : তাদের কানে এলো সিম্রি ইস্রায়েলের রাজার বিরুদ্ধে চক্রান্ত করে তাঁকে হত্যা করেছেন| তখন ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত বাসিন্দা সেই শিবিরেই সেনাপতি অম্রিকে ইস্রায়েলের রাজা হিসেবে ঠিক করলো|
KJV : And the people [that were] encamped heard say, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also slain the king: wherefore all Israel made Omri, the captain of the host, king over Israel that day in the camp.
YLT : and the people who are encamping hear, saying, `Zimri hath conspired, and also hath smitten the king;` and all Israel cause Omri head of the host to reign over Israel on that day in the camp.
RV : And the people that were encamped heard say, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also smitten the king: wherefore all Israel made Omri, the captain of the host, king over Israel that day in the camp.
RSV : and the troops who were encamped heard it said, "Zimri has conspired, and he has killed the king"; therefore all Israel made Omri, the commander of the army, king over Israel that day in the camp.
ASV : And the people that were encamped heard say, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also smitten the king: wherefore all Israel made Omri, the captain of the host, king over Israel that day in the camp.
ESV : and the troops who were encamped heard it said, "Zimri has conspired, and he has killed the king." Therefore all Israel made Omri, the commander of the army, king over Israel that day in the camp.
ERVEN : Omri was the commander of the army of Israel. The men in the camp heard that Zimri had made secret plans against the king and killed him. So in the camp all the soldiers made Omri the new king.

BNV : তখন অম্রি ও ইস্রায়েলের সবাই গিব্বথোন থেকে এসে তির্সা আক্রমণ করলো|
KJV : And Omri went up from Gibbethon, and all Israel with him, and they besieged Tirzah.
YLT : And Omri goeth up, and all Israel with him, from Gibbethon, and they lay siege to Tirzah.

ERVEN : Then Omri and all the soldiers of Israel left Gibbethon and went to Tirzah. They surrounded the city and attacked it.

BNV : সিম্রি যখন বুঝতে পারলেন তির্সা শত্রুপক্ষের দখলে চলে গেছে, তখন তিনি রাজপ্রাসাদে নিজেকে বন্ধ করে প্রাসাদে আগুন লাগিয়ে আত্মহত্যা করলেন|
KJV : And it came to pass, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the palace of the king’s house, and burnt the king’s house over him with fire, and died,
YLT : And it cometh to pass, at Zimri`s seeing that the city hath been captured, that he cometh in unto a high place of the house of the king, and burneth over him the house of the king with fire, and dieth,
RV : And it came to pass, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the castle of the king-s house, and burnt the king-s house over him with fire, and died,

ERVEN : When Zimri saw the city had been captured, he ran to the palace fortress, but the soldiers burned it down with him still in it.

BNV : সিম্রিও যারবিয়ামের মতোই প্রভুর অনভিপ্রেত পাপাচরণ করেছিলেন ও ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের পারকার্য়্য়ের কারণ হয়েছিলেন| আর এই পাপের জন্যই সিম্রির মৃত্যু হল|
KJV : For his sins which he sinned in doing evil in the sight of the LORD, in walking in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin which he did, to make Israel to sin.
YLT : for his sins that he sinned, to do the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, to walk in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin that he did, to cause Israel to sin;
